Womens Volleyball
UTPB began its intercollegiate athletic program with a club volleyball team in 1994. The Lady Falcons' first season as an official Intercollegiate volleyball team was played in 1995 as an independent member of the NAIA. Two wins were recorded in the team's first season. The second and third seasons were also completed as an NAIA independent. The team recorded seven wins in 1996 and 12 wins in 1997.
In 1998, UTPB became a charter member of the Red River Athletic Conference. The Lady Falcons recorded their first winning season finishing with a record of 16-13 on the year and placing second in the conference regular season and conference tournament.
The team's first 20 win season came in 1999. The team finished with a record of 23-12 and won it's first Red River Athletic Conference Tournament Championship.
