KINE 4370 - TEST REVIEW 1

Do to time comstraints and computer problems, the review is in outline form.   The test will consist of 40 multiple choice questions and 2 Essays.

Chapter 1

  1. You should be able to differentiate between the ideas of Health and Wellness.
  2. Know the wellness continuum, and what diseases are the leading causes of death in the US.
  3. Review the Healthy People 2000 goals for worksite health promotion.
  4. Review Tablew 1.1 on page 7 of the green textbook

Chapter 2

  1. Be able to differentiate between a policy and a procedure
  2. Review policy development and policy integration
  3. Be prepared to develop a policy and its procedures on the test.

Chapter 3

  1. Be able to differentiate between Ethics and Values.
  2. What role does government play in worksite ethics
  3. Know what the business ethics necessary to maintain for Health Promotion

Chapter 4

  1. Be able to discuss business orginization and where power and authority are found in different organizational structures
  2. Review the organizational charts and where health promotion should be placed.
  3. Be able to differentiate between a goal, strategy, and objective.
  4. Review the subsection on Departmental relations; especially labor relations, risk management and training.
