2012 West Texas Guitar Festival
Thursday, March 22nd - Saturday, March 24th
Odessa, Texas
-Open to elementary, middle school, high school, college, and adult players
-All styles welcome from classical and jazz to popular guitar players
-Soloists or guitar with other instruments (guitar with flute, violin, etc.) welcome
-Receive constructive written and verbal comments from a professional guitarist
-Competition winner to receive a performance slot on final concert
-Free guitar clinics, lectures, and vendors on Saturday at UTPB
Registration
-Cost is $25 per student
-Competition cost is an additional $10
-Prepare 2 works for the competition: 1 of your instructor's choice AND 1 of your choice
-Provide a copy of the music for the judge

Thursday, March 22nd at 5:00pm in the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center (Sewell Ford Adjunct Faculty Studio - room #189)- Round one of the solo competition: PML round (bring a copy of the music for the judge).
Thursday, March 22nd at 7:00pm in the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center - Opening concert of the festival

Friday, March 23rd at 5:00pm - Round two of the solo competition in Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center (Sewell Ford Adjunct Faculty Studio - room #189): student choice round (bring a copy of the music for the judge)
Friday, March 23rd at 7:00pm in Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center - "Jazz Night" featuring the talent of [guest artist to be named]!
